Letters, Requests & Questions
Welcome to the inside of the mailbox, boys and girls.
Watch your step in here.
Some of these Q&A;'s are so old, they're liable to give way.
And I was hoping you guys wouldn't get sucked into the Sony media
bias! You rated all of Sony's 1st generation games over Sega's 2nd
generation games which are clearly superior in both gameplay and
graphics. You can appease me by writing an article on game
industry, media, and consumer attitudes towards Saturn. Why are
they so negative?
gangrel
Gangrel, you're only partly right. Three of the second generation Saturn games are as good as the best first generation PlayStation titles. Virtua Cop, Virtua Fighter 2 and Sega Championship Rally are all excellent games and I believe you can see that we think so in our reviews. As for us giving marginally better ratings to some PSX games that come from the same genres as these titles, you can chalk that up to the fact that the PlayStation games, namely Ridge Racer, Tekken and Battle Arena Tohinden, all came out at least a month prior to the Saturn releases and had the element of being "first on the block" going for them. Rally, VF2 and V-Cop are all smoking but the Saturn should have had more games of this calibre earlier than it did (come to think of it, there should have been some since then also).
And finally, once and for all, we've got to clear up this issue of bias. The Electric Playground does not have a favorite company. We don't choose sides. We're not picking favorites. Our reviews are honest and objective and we work really hard to try and make our thoughts on each game as clear and concise as possible. We want games to be great on every system. We hate playing crappy or mediocre games just as much as you do. As for the Saturn being dissed, we can't speak for other magazines or the industry but we can speak our minds and even though we love playing both systems, the PlayStation still has a much bigger pile of excellent titles in the Playground.
Hi,
I saw a post in rec.games.video.atari saying there was a Jeff Minter
interview to be
found on your www page. I've checked it out (not completely but in all the
places I
thought it could be in such as News, Features, Atari Safari & Interviews but
I can't
find the Minter interview anywhere. If you have the time would you please
email me
with instructions on how to find it.
Thanks,
Jonathan Jax Hunt
Jonathan,
Thanks for searching through the site for the clip. We've been doing a lot of construction and shuffling around, so it's been confusing for everyone. How'd you like it around here? We have a Quicktime of Jeff Minter stashed in Previews Cineplex. It's not incredibly huge but it will give you a brief idea of what Mr. Minter is like. We found him to be very approachable and friendly at E3 last year and we're hoping that we can run into him again this year - we've got to thank him for Defender 2000.
I was impressed with the graphics on your home page, however I was
unable to proceed much further than that! I'm surfing on an ISDN
line, yet it's like pulling teeth trying to get a connection to your
site and anywhere in your site. Who is your service provider?
Perhaps you should consider making the graphics smaller or minimizing
the number of graphics on a page. They're beautiful, but there's so
large that some of them come over broken until you reload 2-3 times.
uyen
Uyen,
As you can see, a lot has changed since you wrote this letter. We were getting totally burned by our ISP and we had to make some drastic changes. We're finally getting back to a regular schedule and now we can start to get to things a lot more regularly (like mail). Hopefully all of your EP download stress has been relieved by our new smaller file size graphic layout. Thanks to Jack Lee, Roger Earl and John Shaw our pages are loading up at a fraction of the time our old site used to. We liked playing with the 3D logos and graphics before but not only did it take a whole bunch of time to create those things but the file sizes were large and we started to get plenty of letters like yours. By the way, thank you very much for the compliments.
Jaguar is the grandest game system. Do you like video games? Please reply now
Greg
Okay...and yes.
I'm from Vancouver and I was wondering when you are going to do that show you
talked about a while back??
Larry Goodacre
We're talking to different broadcasters all the time but as of today we haven't signed anything. The word on the Playground is good but maybe people are scared of us. What do y'all think? Maybe we should start collecting letters from fans of the site? We're in no rush to sell The Electric Playground to a broadcaster that doesn't understand what we're trying to do - that last thing we want is to produce another crappy video game show. We'll let you know the minute that a green light is flashed.
Hang in there, AJ. Not only have we got a review of the awesome Donkey Kong Country 2 up now but EP is sure that you've gotten past that level and you and your bro have worked out this little internet/phone line problem.
how do i play here online
galaxy
Galaxy,
Not yet, but someday soon.
Hallo.Wie gehts!
Adrian Demleitner
Hallo Adrian!
Hi.
Xtremly kewl site, but the access time is a bit of a drag.
Totally agree with your comment "a section of the gaming industry that
has had its best year ever and is continuing to
be the driving force of innovation out there".
I too would like to think that I could just lunch-out and plug in a
playstation or ultra64, but somehow I just need an operating system and
a machine with a thirst for gadgets!
Keep up the good work..
Dan
Gadgets! Did someone say Gadgets? Dan, we're sorry about that darn access time. We hope everything is much smoother now. And thanks for your support, amigo.
what is new in video games
what is new in mortal kombat
Juan
New in video games? There's nothing new in video games! What's gotten into you, Juan? New in Mortal Kombat? How about Ultimate Moral Kombat 3 for the Saturn. 22 fighters, 785,000 different special moves, 9 billion fatalities and if you can believe this, not one drop of blood is shed! Psyche.
Sam And Max Hit The Road
Please help me with this game. I'm stuck! I can't get into the Bigfoot party.I have my complete costume and I know where to change but I've been told I need to give a file to Bigfoot. If this is the answer - where do you get it?
Christian Laplante
EP hasn't had time to get to this game yet (actually, Roger is currently playing it now but hasn't gotten very far in it yet), can anyone help this poor man? Get in touch with us and we'll pass you on to Christian. Hopefully, it's not too late...
FRANKLY I DON'T GET WHAT IS GOING ON HERE? DO I GET TO PLAY GAMES OR WHAT?? PLEASE TELL ME OK?
Jim Lindsay
Okay, okay, okay. Stop yelling! You can't play games here yet but we are trying to make that happening. For now all we've got is news, reviews, previews and interviews and this cranky letter from youse.
i think that this electric playground is really cool so keep the good work up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Nick Kotechy
Thank you. Be kind to your punctuation marks, they're our greatest natural resource.
this game doesn't work at all!
Blendia Nawrocki
Have you been talking to Mr. Lindsay?
Okay, so how come I get the opening page, and can't get anything else????
Thanks
JUDY ZEGKE
Judy,
We've gone through a series of moves and we'd love it if you'd come back
and give our site another shot. I can pretty much guarantee that you'll be
able to see more than just our opening page.
Thanks to e-mails like yours, we got out of the crappy ISP we were in before.
Take care. We'd love to hear what you think of the new EP site.
Hello. I wrote to you awhile back but haven't gotten a reply yet. I know
from your news and editorials that EP is going through some advanced changes
right now. I would still like to know when/if the television show is coming out? Is
it available in certain regions of the U.S.? Will it be on a cable channel?
I myself, live in Seattle, WA and am eagerly awaiting any developents that may
arise. Please send me a reply when its possible and keep up the good work with this web site.
Melvin Carumbana
Melvin,
As you've probably guessed already, we get mucho mail about the TV show. We're collecting it all as we continue to produce the site and build up our arsenal to launch at unsuspecting broadcast executives in New York, Toronto and Los Angeles. Rest assured, The Electric Playround will be seen on television. We just can't give you the date to set your VCRs yet. You know where to check to find out though, don't ya?
As far as we know, the only Saturn sampler discs that are coming out in the next little while will be available with special copies of Next Generation magazine. Sega was delivering a non-interactive sampler with the Saturn when it first came out and there was talk of a sampler pack-in and send-away disc coming out soon but EP hasn't seen it yet.
please write about madden'96
Dianne Swindell
Ok.
I think it is cool that the Electric Playground is such a hit I would like it.
Mi'Chelle Heeren
So would we.
What follows is the horrible aftermath of that dreaded disease known as One-Track Mind:
Dear Elecplay,
When are you guys going to add more gifs?!?!?!?! I really want to see more
Nintendo 64 movie files!
Mario Macri
Dear Gif City,
When are you guys going to add more Nintendo 64 Movies? Are the ones you
have now, going to be the only ones you'll ever get? Thank you for your
time.
Mario
Dear Elecplay,
When are you guys going to add new Super Mario 64 movies?!?!?! I really
want to see more! It would really be cool if you got more of those! Well,
good luck in the future! Sayonara!
Mario Macri
Moshi-Moshi!
I just wanted to know when your going to get more Nintendo 64 movie files.
I like the ones you have now and I also have them all. So, are you
planning to get more? I really want to see more of the Nintendo 64!
Sayonara!
Mario Macri
Dear Elecplay,
When are you guys going to get more Nintendo 64 movie files?
Mario Macri
Hi,
I would just like to know when your going to get more movie files of the
Nintendo 64. I have all of them that you have. It's getting pretty boring.
Mario Macri
Mario,
We're working hard to find some more moving images of the Nintendo 64.Nintendo is, as you know, quite tight lipped about anything to do with the 64. We've got some leads and trust us, as soon as we've got it we'll put it up on the site. Until then we share your anticipation. Keep reading and thanks for your interest and trust that EP will deliver. Take care Mario,
John Shaw
Director of Productions
The Electric Playground
Earthworm Jim is Not a 3DO game.
I think you'd do a bit better only posting to groups it's actually out for, or at least planned for.
I don't talk about the NU64 when I can avoid it, personally. :-)
It does sound like a cool game, and if I ever get a chance, I'll probably
pick up the sega CD version, but I'd love a 3DO version.
Peter Seebach
Earthworm Jim is a universal game. Shiny didn't make it as a platform exclusive title (currently one or both Jim games are available for Genesis, SNES, Saturn, Sega CD, PC CD-ROM and PlayStation) but decisions had to be made as to what systems to port the slimy guy to and the 3DO for whatever reason didn't get the nod. Yet. When we post stuff, we like to let all the groups in on it.
It's unanimous. The "Atlantis" has to be SNES compatible!:
YES!!! The new nintendo portable SHOULD DEFINITELY be SNES compatible.
The only prob I see is the size of the carts.
Dave
Snes Compi table!!! YESSSS!!!
Claude Flom
I'VE NEVER HEARD OF ANEW PORTABLE FROM NINTENDO! anyway yeah it should
be SNES compatible hope it succeeds if it does come out unlike the
virtual boy
--
ha!and you thought you would get my name
Ha! We didn't even get you to spell check your letter! But yes, a new portable is on the way from Nintendo and we hope its much more successful than the Virtual Boy too.
That's exactly what we want to do with all of these letters, Ryan. Nintendo needs to know that players want a portable SNES. All of the reasons you listed are bang on. The Nomad is one of our faves and it would be great if Nintendo would drop something to respond to it.
Game Boy is great on batteries - think Nintendo can equal that?
I have several portables. Actually, all the legit portables:
Game Boy(2)
Game Gear(2)
Lynx(original and II)
Genesis Nomad, Sega's 16-bit portable version of the Genesis
Virtual Boy
NEC TurboGrafx Express(2)
I suspect your site is new, so don't take it personal. I would like to
see some more support for the Game Boy and Game Gear. You can tie in
your Nomad support with Genesis.
Virtual Boy? That's a risk. Sure, I like mine, but this may be a sinking
ship. I hope not, but only time will tell.
Lynx support should be minimal, although I do know a KILLER site for
Lynx info. Check out any post by Edward Castle on alt.games.lynx and
follow the URL in his sig.
I wouldn't bother supporting the TurboGrafx Express, waste of your time.
Just some thoughts. Other thoughts: content over flash. Of course, the
kids get off on graphics and fluff, I just want information. The Los
Altos Networks home page is more dedicated to information, although I've
got a ton of graphics in there too. Pictures are secondary in my
opinion. I'm not saying go and change everything because of me, I'm just
saying that I'm more for information and don't like to wait through tons
of bulky graphics. It's just something to consider as others think like
me. The vast majority want the flash.
Chris Pickett
Thanks for the comments, Chris. As you can see, EP has changed its look quite a bit since you sent us this letter. You like? We are trying to cover the portables as much as we can. We're reviewing everything that comes in to the Playground and we're looking to start filling up our library with games that we've somehow missed along the way - including some Turbo Graphx Express games. Keep checking in.
I was wondering about all the cheat codes for College Slam... Can you
help? I would appreciate it!!! Thanks
Brian Prisock
Brian,
We haven't gotten College Slam yet so we can't pass off any of our own discoveries but you ought to be able to find a least a few nibbles of info by just surfing around a bit. Unless, one of our readers can help you...
Vic: I don't know about Combat (Robotron 2084 gets my vote) but man, are you bang on with Larry Bird and Dr. J: One on One. I played that game to death on the Atari 800. Wore out my Wicos on that one.
Sean,
We do indeed sell ads in the Playground. Click here for more info.
Hi Victor
I'm really glad that you replied to my e-mail in such short time the
problem is that it is completely garbled . Could you please send it again .
To refresh your memory I need info on companies that sell multi-media
hard and software in an international capacity. I am from South Africa
By the way I was reading a few other e-zines on comp games and your
mag kicks the living sh*& out of all that I have read so far . Keep
up the unpretentious (is that right ?) , articulate and absolutely
fantastic work .
Ebrahim
Thank you Ebrahim. Don't almost all of the hardware and software companies sell into international markets now?
About our SNES Must Buys...
What about Super Metroid?
About our Game Boy Must Buys...
I personally liked Metroid 2 and Kirby's Dream Land. I love your talk
about the good ol' GB, I agree 100%.
About us...
I love your site, it is one of the best, bye for now.
Claude Flom
Metroid hasn't been a huge title in the Playground. We have Metroid II for the GB but it hasn't captivated anyone enough to go back and review it, although Vic keeps mumbling that he'd like to have a little time to go back and really get into it as well as Super Metroid for the SNES. Keep your eyes on those Must Buys lists Claude, they're always changing.
Silicon Valley is in _NORTHERN_ California, not Southern as stated in
the intro page of your Atari Safari. :)
Chris Oates
Oops. We're happy to report that The Electric Playground has finally put Silicon Valley back where it belongs.
Obviously, none of you have played Sub Terranean from Sega. This
is the most awesome game I have played ever. I combines realism and
a feeling that you are really playing the game. Check it out and
give it some credit!
Ryan Whiteside
It's in the Playground's shopping list, Ryan. Keep checking the site for an EP assessment of the game in the near future.
Thanks for the suggestion.
Erik,
We're going to be linking to everyone and everything related to video games. We're just getting our link page graphics redesigned but once they are, look out! There's going to be plenty o' stuff to search through - as long as y'all promise to keep comin' back here.
this site is totally awesome! you have a whole bunch of pages
and they're all cool. maybe you could expand to include a tips department
and have people drop off tips.
alicia butler
You're absolutely right, Alicia, we should expand to have a tips section. We will!
Hi!
I read the review of Defender 2000 by Victor Lucas, and agree
whole heartedly. There is a small incorrect point, however. There
is a joystick available for the Jaguar! It's called the Lapcat,
and is not an OFFICIAL accessory but can still be bought. And
from reports, it's a pretty sturdy well-built thing too. Bits
of Fun or Toad Computers should be selling this if you must have
one. (Bits of Fun can be reached at 1-800-FUN-JAGS and, well,
I don't have Toad's number offhand... =)
Thanks...
Bobby Tribble
Thank you, Bobby. EP's going to have to get its own Lapcat too. Defender just ain't the same with a pad.
You mention atari may be working on getting sega games onto the Jag. I
like this idea. What do you think the likelihood of Atari dropping the
Jag completely are? I know the Tramiels have refused to sell the Jag
tech to anyone, so maybe they ARE still planning something...
Almo!
All we know about Atari and the Jaguar right now, is that everything is up in the air. But for the record, we like the idea of Sega licensing some of its games (and vice versa) to Atari, maybe it'll happen but please, don't hold your breath.
Let him (Vic) know I found his Jaguar reviews informative and well written.
Thanks.
Almo!
Vic: Hey! I'm blushing. Thank you.
I read how great Tekken is and I know because I have it but I got it late
late say in February. Now I have a big problem, I can not find the
special moves for the fighters, especially for Paul and King, and how to
make them run or do multiple combos. Can you help me on this please? If
you do not have them please let me know where I can find these moves on
the web. Your web site is terrific but how in the world you do not have
the moves of Tekken when in your review you give 10 out of 10. I am
shock!! by this. I have tried so bad to try to find these moves but with
no luck to this very day. I had try in my PlayStation to figured out the
moves but so far for Paul and King I can get them to work the way the
computer does. Specially when they run. Once again please help me find
this information.
Thank you.
Luis.
Luis,
The only reason we don't have all kinds of tips, hints, cheats and strategies in our pages is because we don't, at this time have the resources available to us to do this properly. You should know that if we could have everything in place that we'd like, a tips/strategy section would definitely be a part of that. The best we can say is that The Electric Playground is definitely working on a Tips/Strategy section but we are still talking to people we think are capable of handling such an enormous responsibility. Like the rest of our pages, we are extremely conscious of providing not only an informative section but one that is entertaining and thorough as well.
I am a nineteen year old college student, and I am addicted to Super
Mario Kart. I have been playing this game avidly, since it first came
out back in '92 or '93. I was just wondering if any of you know if there
is going to be a Super Mario Kart II. Super Mario Kart is the only game
I have never gotten sick of. Hasn't the thought of a sequel crossed the
minds of its makers.... After all, it is tied for number one in your top
SNES games.
mmpetty
EP is addicted to Mario Kart too. Is there anywhere we can go to get help? Anyway, you're going to be one happy camper this year, mmpetty. Mario kart 64 will be one of the first releases for the Nintendo 64 and it looks... awesome. We'll have more on the game very soon.
We notices Super Metroid didn't make your top 5... or 10... or 20! What's
going on! Super Metroid blows the doors off of Batman & Robin any day.
Need a review?
Tom Mahowald
Tom,
We don't have every game ever made in the Playground and consequently none of the staff has spent considerable time with Super Metroid (although Victor is stuck in the game as we speak). The Must Buy lists are not meant to be final lists. Games that EP missed the first time around are discovered everyday and our Must Buy lists change all the time. Keep checking back. And if you'd like to write us a review on Super Metroid or any other games for that matter, please feel free. If we really like your work, we'll be in touch with you.
Allan,
There's tons of interactive gaming to be found on the net, you just have to take a look for it. Interplay just put together a network gaming service called Engage. There's
DWANGO. Around the corner we've got competing services from a number of other quality companies like the Total Entertainment Network, MPlayer and MPG-Net. EP's going to be putting together a special report on Multi-player Online Gaming (MOGs) networks in the very near future. Keep 'em glued.
Y'all completely didn't mention any of the RPGs available for the Sega CD.
Working Designs brought out about at least 4 RPGs including Vay,
Popfull Mail, Lunar: The Silver Star, and the top selling Sega CD title
Lunar: Eternal Blue. For good reviews of these titles, please check out
the Shining Forth RPG review database at
http://www-personal.engin.umich.edu/~bgaydek/rv.html
--
Chris Barker
You're absolutely correct there, Chris. We should have reviews for these games on The Electric Playground. None of the Playground people have had the opportunity to play these titles and we were looking forward to meeting up with the Working Design crew at this year's E3, so we could rectify that. For whatever reason, EP and WD hasn't happened yet. Rest assured though, we will do everything in our power to make sure we can dig up some dirt on this acclaimed development house in the very short while.
Hi,
Your pages look really great!!
But I must admit, I ran across your link because Yahoo listed it as
"William Ed. Summers", a designer with links to other black designers.
While I didn't surf thru all your pages (the graphics are big, and my modem is slow),
I saw no design (as listed in Yahoo) of any houses designed by Mr. Summers.
Is this a mistake, or did I miss something??
S.Grant
Lic. Architect
Thank you, Mr./Ms. Grant. Seems like you took a wrong turn in the net neighborhood and ended up in the Playground. Happens all the time. Don't worry though, we won't tell your boss you stopped by for some fun. Hope you're designing houses with a full on interactive entertainment theater in mind.
Our 11-year-old daughter got a JVC X'Eye Sega clone (Genesis & Sega CD combo) for Christmas, mainly so her mom and older sister could snatch some time on the family Compaq for word processing and homework. Recently, li'l sister came home talking about Myst, a game she played on a friend's PC. Apparently it's a hot title in
computer games; what I'm wondering is if it's available on either of the game deck
formats we have -- especially on Sega CD. If so, who produces it?
PS: I like your new layout, although with Netscape 2.0 some of the time it is a bit
hard to read, especially against that black background. But that's a nit-pick. The
meat and potatoes; your reviews and previews, are as insightful as ever. Keep it
up.
Bill Gould
Hi Bill,
Nice to hear from you again. Glad the X'Eye worked out for you guys. By this time (it's taken us forever to get to the mail - sorry), you've probably either picked up Myst for the Sega CD or moved on completely. Have you taken a gander at how cheap some of the great Sega CD games are these days? EP saw NHL '94. (considered by many as the best version of that 16 bit legacy) for 10 bucks! Happy hunting. Let us know what your kids are going to want this Christmas. We're curious.
About Power Play Hockey '96 from Radical Entertainment and Virgin, I read that it will not include GM options (trading players etc..) If that is true I think you should report it because that would be a major discouragement to many people.
Thanks
Blueshirt
Blueshirt,
Radical tried to get as much in as they could. You should play the game and ask yourself, "is this the best hockey videogame ever made, or what?" The answer should be obvious.
You guys didn't list THE most must-have game of all!
And that is, SHINING FORCE TWO. This game is so good, it's not funny.
I played this game day and night till the battery ran out (two years).
I just sent the game to SEGA to get the battery replaced so I could play
it for another two years. (I spent a lot money buying the game, getting
it fixed, and finding a computer I could reach you with, so I'm praying
you print this little article. PLEASSSSSEEEEE????
Elizabeth Lee
Elizabeth,
You don't work for the company, do you? By the way your ride on the Guilt Trip Express worked wonders. It took us forever, but we finally printed your letter about your favorite game (and soon to be ours, we're told), Shining Force 2.
How about some more Neo Geo reviews? You guys are missing some of the
biggest recent releases, such as KOF95, SS3, and RBFF. I would also
like to see reviews of Baseball Stars 2, Top Hunter, Pulstar, and
Viewpoint. Thanks and keep up the good work!
Iceman
Iceman,
We're very impressed with their Neo Geo titles and we're really looking forward to getting a Neo Geo CDZ so we won't have to wait as long to get into the thick of the action. The only thing I can say is you're right and you're going have to keep checking back because EP will most assuredly have more to say about the play from SNK.
About your Saturn Must Buys:
I agree with Virtua Fighter 2, Sega Rally, Virtua Cop, and World Series
Baseball. I disagree with Bug, Shinobi Legions, and Ghen War. You
should update Panzer Dragoon to Panzer Dragoon Zwei, and add Night
Warriors: Darkstalker's Revenge to the lineup. Night Warriors is the
best 2D fighting game IMO, and the option menu code makes this game two
games in one. Highlight "Configuration" in the options menu. Press B,X,
down,A,Y and you'll see a new menu appear. Now you can set animations to
full, access classic Darkstalkers music, colors, and backgrounds, and
test the BGM. I think Saturn will win best system of 1996.
--
Carpe Noctem,
Marcos
Thanks for your feedback Marcos. We can't wait to get our grubby little mitts on Night Warriors.
I read in this past issue of EGM in the very back where you can import
games from Japan about a Sailor Moon RPG. I just love RPG's and I was
just rescently looking for one of Sailor Moon. I was wondering if you
could give me any info on the game before I bought it. Is it anything
like the FF series? Any info you could give me would be a great help!!
Thank you so very much!!!
Serena
Serena,
EP will be checking into this for ya. Also, keep your satellite dish pointed in our direction 'cause we've got a smashing "Anime-To-Gaming-And-Back-Again" report on the way.
Thank you for performing an invaluable service to me by providing a new and exciting site about games. There are too many sites out there that just plain suck. You seem really into the gaming scene and are a refreshing alternative to the other lame-ass attempts at this sport. I also have a passion for hockey, and it is just
becoming accessible (in a live format) here in IOWA!!, and I think that no system is worth it's weight in silicon if it doesn't have a good NHL sim. I keep my SNES around just to play NHL 94-95-96. I am really looking forward to your excellent columns and seemingly unbiased opinions on upcoming games and systems. Your writing is appropriately light hearted, and gets your opinions and thoughts across well. Keep the info flying my way. Thanks Again.
Eric Anderson
Cedar Rapids, IA
P.S. If you are interested in some reviews of new Saturn games I am getting one (a Saturn) this weekend and would be more than happy to contribute if the need should arise.
Eric,
You are much too kind. Thank you. Although we're not looking for contributors at the present moment, I've heard from a very good source that The Electric Playground will definitely need a bunch of writers and other creative types on staff soon. If you've got something to show us, now's the time.
Greetings oh reviewers of all things electric-gaming oriented.
All right! Great page and design, folks! You've been "book marked"!
Have a quick question for y'all. Have you heard anything about a
baseball game for Macintosh? Recently I heard rumors that EA was
planning to release such a creation, but have not seen anything to
that effect come out on the market in recent months.
If you wouldn't mind, I'd appreciate a "yea", "nay", or "other" from
you. E-mail address is: holaday@u.washington.edu
Many thanks,
Blake Holaday
P.S. So I've got two questions for you all-knowing ones: Has anyone
played "Stalingrad" from either Avalon Hill or Atomic or whoever it
is that is publishing the computer version of that very exiting
board game? If yes, please include your opinion, if no, do you know
where I might find someone who has some experience with the game?
Again, muchas gracias, Blake
Hola Blake,
Although we can't 100% guarantee that baseball on the Mac ain't happening, we have heard from an inside source at EA that the company is essentially just going to be developing for three platforms in the future; Windows is one, PlayStation is two and we'll leave it up to you to guess what that third platform might be.
No one at EP has played Stalingrad - sorry.
